In the United States, plant-based food is becoming much more popular than it’s ever been before. Many people in America are cutting back on their amount of meat consumption, or just completely making the switch to a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. From the research team at How to Cook, this infographic uses data from Google Surveys polls on Americans’ dietary preferences. According to the data, it was found that nearly half of those who responded classified their dietary preferences as omnivores, meaning that they eat both plants and meat. Just under 9% of the respondents considered themselves to be vegan.
