While your income may have you living very comfortably in one part of the United States, that same income could prove to make it difficult to get by somewhere else. This new infographic from the research team at Madison Trust Company utilizes data from the U.S. Census Bureau to determine how much money you would need to make to be considered rich in the 50 most populous cities across the United States. According to their research, the highest mean income of the top 20% across these cities were found in San Jose at $500,341, San Francisco at $442,934, Washington DC at $353,350, Boston at $353,292 and Seattle at $346,862.
