This original infographic was designed by the Indy Displays team as a merchant guide to understanding what exactly “friendly fraud” is, and how much of an industry problem fraudulent credit card chargebacks have become for online merchants. In most cases, a small online business owner doesn’t learn what friendly fraud is until they’ve already fallen victim to it. The statistics and tips included within the design are for educating merchants and to help prevent chargeback fraud before it happens.
