Bruising on the skin is most commonly attributed to internal injury or trauma that can appear anywhere on the skin and at any age. But, it is always a good idea to find the underlying cause of your skin bruises. If you are an avid player in bed and having multiple intimate partners, then a bruise is not to be taken lightly, as it may be a result of a contracted STD or HIV.
Initially, a bruise may be reddish in color and after a few hours, it turns blue/purple or black in color – you may also experience some pain. As time lapses, the bruise starts to turn yellow or green and the pain fades.
