Snow is very common in many U.S. states during the winter, but some states regularly get more snow. Other states that many consider to be warm surprisingly get more snow than most people think. The graphic below shows the record number of inches of snow each U.S. state has received in one day.
The state that has received the most snow in one day is Colorado. The state got 63 inches of snow in Georgetown in just one day in 1913. The state with the lowest amount of snowfall in one day is Florida. In 1954, the Milton Experimental Station received just 4 inches of snow in one day.
