How Much the Tooth Fairy Pays For a Tooth by State

Inflation has affected us all and it doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon. Gas, food, housing, vehicles and more are all up across the board. Even the tooth fairy has had to raise their prices to compete in this high inflation world. In the 1980’s a tooth was only worth around 50 cents or less on average but today thanks to research by the Dental Care Alliance, we can see what the average tooth goes for in today’s day and age. In Florida, kids are getting around $7.42 per lost tooth but in Texas, it’s right around $6.00. Kids in Iowa are getting the lowest recorded average amount per tooth at $2.30. Where does your state fall in line with the entire US average of $4.57?
