The team at Joslyn Family Law firm studied a crucial American topic, firearms homicide rates, to show us which counties had the highest rates in 2018 versus 2022.
While the numbers change, many of the top cities in 2018 remained somewhere on the list in 2022. Currently, in 2022, the most dangerous U.S. with the highest rates of homicide by gun is Orleans Parish in Louisiana, the home of New Orleans.
This changed from 2018 when the highest rates were in St. Louis, Missouri. Unfortunately, the rate of firearms homicide has increased since 2018 on a nationwide scale.
