Artificial intelligence has evolved from ancient myths to modern innovation.
The AIPRM team’s timeline highlights key milestones, from the Greek automaton Talos (700 B.C.) to Persian mathematician Al-Khwarizmi’s algorithms (9th century). Aristotle’s logic influenced AI’s decision-making, while Alan Turing’s 1950 test set a standard for machine intelligence. In 1958, John McCarthy coined “artificial intelligence” and created Lisp, an early AI programming language. AI progressed further with ELIZA, the first chatbot (1965), leading to today’s predictive models.
Once science fiction, AI is now an essential part of daily life, continually evolving toward unprecedented intelligence.
