The answer isn’t so cut and dry, but one website tried to find the answer with a direct comparison of the average cost of one gigabyte of mobile data in 230 different countries across the globe. VoiceNation created this colorful visual that makes it easy to see which countries are paying the most, and which are paying the least, for the mobile data that powers their smart phone. The country with the highest cost for mobile data was found to pay nearly fifty dollars for just one gigabyte, while this same amount of mobile data in another country was found to cost just pennies.
