This new study from Preply shows the magic of mondegreens, which make every song a surprise party for language. Even when the real lyric makes perfect sense, the wrong version often feels funnier, catchier, and weirdly correct. The team ranked lyrics and artists by the most misheard lyrics. Some of the mistakes on here make us wonder if artists could try pronouncing their words like they’re not being chased by a synthesizer.
