The team at Preply created maps of America’s most and least bilingual cities. The team found that these 10 cities are the most bilingual in the country:
• El Paso, TX
• Los Angeles, CA
• San Jose, CA
• San Antonio, TX
• New York, NY
• Houston, TX
• San Diego, CA
• Phoenix, AZ
• San Francisco, CA
• Dallas, TX
El Paso is a multicultural city located on the border with Mexico, so it is not surprising that Spanish is a common language there. There are many cities in Texas with high concentrations of Spanish-speaking residents. Los Angeles has a high number of residents with a Spanish-speaking ethnic background.
