Planning to join the 35% of Americans who work from home? In that case, you’ll want to check Ooma’s infographic before moving to a new state. The team created a scoring system to rank states on their remote work desirability.
They mapped out each state’s score and found that the best place to work from home is North Dakota. North Dakota has a good salary to rent ratio, low utility costs, and good internet speeds. At the bottom of the list was California due to the high cost of living compared to the average work from home salary. Of course, every industry and job is different. You can use this map to judge your work from home situation for yourself.
