The team at Pulse created a map highlighting U.S. cities where tech sectors are booming. It’s an eye-opening look at the truth: Silicon Valley isn’t the only center of tech innovation.
The team looked at employment numbers, wage increases, and other factors that have made these areas leaders in their sectors. Here are the cities most productive in the five sectors the team examined:
• Somerset County, New Jersey: Computing Infrastructure and Data Services
• Norfolk City, Virginia: Custom Computer Programming Services
• Bexar, Texas: Software Publishers
• Union and Essex Counties, New Jersey: Web Search Portals and Information Services
• Williamson County, Texas: Semiconductor and Related Device Manufacturer
